A CHINESE YELLOW GLAZED PORCELAIN VASE, LATE QING DYNASTY. Of baluster form covered in a with M formed ring handles and apocryphal six character mark of Chenghua to base. With a carved and pierced wood display stand. Vase 22cm tall. Provenance: Property of Terence E B Harnden who served as Senior Naval Stores Officer in Hong Kong between 1937 - 1940. Acquired in Hong Kong before returning to England, thence by descent.
Two 2cm vertical hairlines at the rim. Firing cracks to underside of each handle. No signs of repairs.
