TWO 19TH CENTURY SILVER-PLATED TEA URNS. The first, Sheffield plated example, marked for Ashberry, oviform, with two-handles, embossed and engraved with oval cartouches and flowers, with tall domed cover and scroll finial, raised on a domed base and winged feet, 56.5cm high, the second in the Regency style, of oval form, with sphinx finial and female mask terminals above fluted hoof supports,29cm high (2)
Each with some typical wear to silver plate, the taller example with some misshaping to cover and slight denting to body, base is also misshapen, does not sit flush. The oval example with scratch/dent to body, some wear and tarnishing, cover with some flaking to underside, slightly misshapen.
