A LARGE JAPANESE VINTAGE NABESHIMA WARE PORCELAIN VASE, MAEDA SUIHO, LATE 20TH CENTURY. By Maeda Suiho (1920-1993). Of baluster form decorated with three panels decorated with plum blossom, peonies and chrysanthemums, rendered in underglaze blue and polychrome enamels. The base signed Nabeshima Suiho saku; with a tomobako wood box inscribed Iro Nabeshima kabin, nabeshima kenjoyaki, Maeda Suiho saku, and sealed Suiho no in. 62cm high x 35cm diameter.
