A PAIR OF CHINESE POWDER BLUE AND GILT DECORATED JARS, 18TH CENTURY. Each of broad baluster form covered in a deep blue glaze with gilt decoration of pheasant sat in a tree with blossoming peonies below a band of chrysanthemum ruyi heads at the shoulder and a band of key fret. With old paper labels describing the pair as Kangxi period. 37cm tall (2)
Both in good overall condition with no cracks or chips and no signs of repair. Wear and loss to gilt decoration on both throughout.
