A GROUP OF CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE PORCELAIN ITEMS, 19/20TH CENTURY. Twenty seven in total to include cups, bowls, dishes and spoons, decorated with Hei characters and floral sprays. Each with four character marks of Guangxu. Largest bowl 19cm diam. (27)
Provenance: From the estate of a prominent Peranakan family, Khoo Sian Ewe (1886 - 1964), thence by descent.
One large bowl has a chip and three approx. 5 cm hairlines to rim.
One medium bowl has a 2 cm hairline. One bowl has five hairlines: 4 cm (with a second 3 cm hairline joining it), 3.5 cm, 2.5 and 1 cm. One bowl has a 1 cm hairline.
One small bowl has a 3 cm hairline. One bowl has a 1 cm hairline.
One saucer has a 0.5 cm hairline. One dish has a very small chip and two 1 cm hairlines.
