A PAIR OF CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN BOWLS, MING DYNASTY. Rounded sides with slightly everted rims decorated with figure in a landscape scene. The interior well similarly decorated. Each with six character marks of Chenghua to base. 13cm and 13.5cm diam. (2)

Provenance: Property of a Sussex gentleman

Condition: One with triangle shaped glaze loss to body. 1cm firing crack to the rim of the other. No signs of repairs with minor nicks to rim and foot to note.
