A GROUP OF STRAITS CHINESE NYONYA BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN ITEMS, 19 CENTURY. Twenty four in total to include dishes and cups, decorated with sweet pea motif. Seal marks to base. Two cups with 'Ruo Shen zhen cang' marks. Largest dish 15cm. (24)

Provenance: From the estate of a prominent Peranakan family, Khoo Sian Ewe (1886 - 1964), thence by descent.

One dish with 3cm hairline at rim. One dish with fine 1.5 cm hairline. One dish has a small chip to rim. One with two small chips to rim and firing fault.

Two cups have each one small rim chip.

Minor fritting to note. No repair or restoration.
